Our Story

Born from a love
of simple things done well

Joe Sno-cones started with a simple conviction: shaved ice deserves the same care and attention we give to everything else worth eating. No mass-produced slush, no artificial aftertaste — just ice shaved to the perfect consistency and dressed with flavors that taste like something real.

We're a Bellingham staple, serving neighbors and visitors with the same dedication we'd give our own family. Every flavor is mixed in-house, every cone is hand-shaved, and every visit is an invitation to slow down and savor something genuinely good.

The Process

Every step matters

Ice, first

We start with filtered, spring-cold water frozen into crystal-clear blocks. The density and purity determine how fine and clean every bite will be.

Shave, then dress

Each block is hand-shaved to a light, snow-like consistency — not compacted, not watery. Our syrups are applied with intention, never drowned.

Serve with care

Every cone is presented ready to enjoy immediately  — the kind of treat that asks you to pause, step outside, and actually taste it.
